Poor Road Conditions

Our project aims to highlight the importance of paving the internal roads in the village of Jokolo. The internal roads in our village are not well developed, which makes it difficult to move around by bicycle or rollerblades. There are no sidewalks or bike lanes along the roads in the village. We do have a central road that is asphalted, but traffic there is dangerous for us. It would be great to have a road in the village where young people could safely use small sports vehicles. This would also help promote a healthy lifestyle.

The works were created within the framework of the project “Creative arts for shifting power for equality in marginalized communities of Georgia”. The project is funded by the Swedish Institute and implemented by the Tbilisi Photo Festival in partnership with Save the Children International.

The Swedish Institute did not participate in the design of the project.
