Oh, brother, where art thou?

Troyeshchyna, the district of Kyiv, Ukraine, is the place where we were born and spent our childhood. Separated by a river, it is the largest sleeping district in Europe. A ghetto for working class people, who lost their jobs and confidence in the future. My older brother is the personification of the first generation of young people in independent Ukraine in the 1990s. He entered the world of criminality, heroin chic, MTV, sex and the first wave of techno. My brother died in 2018. I recreate fragments of his own biography and explore how youth have changed from the revolution of independence in Ukraine until now - the war for Independence.
