Let’s Restore the School Cafeteria
Video duration: 03:40
The goal of our project is to raise awareness about the problem with our school cafeteria. We want adults and the school principal to better understand how the absence of a cafeteria affects the students and to restore it.
Students often remain hungry because classes start at 9 a.m., and sometimes they don’t have time to eat breakfast. During the day, especially for those attending extracurricular activities, there is no opportunity to get food at all. As a result, many children have to stay hungry all day - from morning until evening.
Through our project, we want to highlight this problem more clearly and show how important it is for the children to have a functioning school cafeteria.
The works were created within the framework of the project “Creative arts for shifting power for equality in marginalized communities of Georgia”. The project is funded by the Swedish Institute and implemented by the Tbilisi Photo Festival in partnership with Save the Children International.
The Swedish Institute did not participate in the design of the project.
