Grandparents of Matan

The village of Matani is a large village with more than five thousand inhabitants. In the hustle and bustle of life, the priority of everyone involved is only the development of young people and their care. For some reason, grandparents have moved to the background, as if they prefer to live in a cage and shadow, but even a little attention is enough to make them feel happy. With my project, I want to introduce to the public the grandfathers and grandmothers living in the village of Matani.

The photo project was implemented within the framework of the project "Visual Storytelling for Changes in the Pankisi Valley", with the financial support of the Georgian Center for Strategy and Development (GCSD).
