Video duration: 03:43

Gigo Gabashvili is recognised as one of the founders of realism in Georgian painting. Soviet ideological dogmas and strict puritanism dominated the artistic environment of 1920-30-ies. However, Gigo Gabashvili, who was recognised and valued by the Soviet regime, using the photo media, turned his art studio into the platform for visual experiments saturated with erotism.
