Bianka is a transgender woman living in conservative Georgia. In November 2014, her friend, another transgender woman, Sabi Beriani was brutally murdered in the capital, Tbilisi. Across social media many people defended the killer, whose identity was known, writing he was a patriot “cleaning the country from demons.” In this portrait of Bianka, photographer Anka Gujabidze has created a intimate view of one member of this community.
