Azerbaijan Implements Measures To Tackle Coronavirus Outbreak

The COVID-19 pandemic, which began to spread in 2019, had its impact on Azerbaijan. Though for a short time, it separated families. The socio-economic situation worsened further. People were compelled to live under challenging conditions. Many people lost their relatives and friends, but despite difficulties, they had to move on with their lives and work.


Aziz Karimov is the shortlisted photographer of the EU Neighbours East - Fotofestiwal photo contest - Family Connections. The gala awards event in Tbilisi was organized in partnership with the Delegation of the European Union to Georgia and the Tbilisi Photography and Multimedia Museum.
