Fabrika of Images
Fabrika of Images is an educational platform for children which offers participants the chance to reflect on the world through learning more about different disciplines through and with images. Some topics include: Geography of South Caucasian countries, History of South Caucasian countries, Art History of South Caucasian countries.
Through theory-based courses and practical workshops, groups of children from primary to high school are taught to understand the complexity of image issues. In close association with the teaching teams, professors of different disciplines (Geography, History, History of Art) and image professionals, the participants of Fabrika of Images are centred around three core concerns: (1) analysis of the image, (2) an understanding of its production, diffusion and reception contexts, and (3) hands-on participation in a group project - a film, a journal, a book.
