TPMM Talks: War Photography

Tbilisi Photography and Multimedia Museum invites you to another meeting of TPMM Talks, the purpose of which is to gather viewers and artists in one space and create an opportunity for discussion and exchange of experiences on various issues.

TPMM Talks will host the second meeting on Wednesday, September 27. The topic of the talk is war photography.

Photographers - Shah Aivazov, David Mdzinarishvili and Leli Blagonravova will share their experiences, talk about the role of the photographer and the importance of documentation in the conflict zone, as well as the difficulties that arise when working in war.

 

In parallel with the talk, you will have a chance to see the photo projects from the museum's multimedia archive, focused on Abkhazia seen through the lens of Georgian and foreign photographers. 

On September 27, 30 years will pass since the fall of Sokhumi.

The meeting will be moderated by Nestan Nijaradze
