We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the third edition of Multimedia Lab Production Grant Program 2020, which aims to support and strengthen emerging female photographers from the South Caucasus region.

7 South Caucasian women photographers from Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan – Elene Shengelia, Tako Robakidze, Nata Abashidze-Romanovskaya, Mane Hovhannisyan, Piruza Khalaphyan, Aytac Bekmemmedova and Chicheck Bayramly have been selected for the 3rd edition of the six months Grant Program mentored by the French photographer Grégoire Eloy/Tendance Floue.

By supporting South Caucasian female photographers to produce work on social issues, the Multimedia Lab Program helped to enclose existing problems related to the COVID-19 crisis, the LGBTQ communities, domestic violence, remote communities, women's emancipation, humans and their environment by putting the light on needed changes.

Each grantee's produced story/project has become a part of PHEI multimedia archives.
